Serie A President: The league will fully support the national team in the World Cup, and each team will cooperate with training needs

Serie A Chairman Simonelli spoke at the RCS Sports Industry Forum. He talked about the possibility of Serie A giving way to national team training.

Simonelli: Serie A will do its best to support the Italian Football Association and the national team, because if Italy can enter the World Cup, it will be the pride of everyone. Chairman Gravina (Chairman of the Italian Football Federation) has already raised the need for training, and I believe the club will be very happy to cooperate.

However, we also need to face the contract signed with the broadcaster, including the Italian Cup or the league, so it does not only depend on Serie A. What we can do is to adjust the game time as much as possible so that the players can provide support to the national team coach as early as possible.
