AS: The new cheering area at Camp Nou will be controlled by Barcelona and must meet conditions such as 18-25 years old and attendance rate.

According to "AS" report, Barcelona decided to reorganize the Camp Nou cheering stands. Barcelona Vice Chairman Elena Ford announced the core details of the new plan at the members' meeting.

The most significant change is that the new cheering area will be "exclusively controlled by the club." Ford emphasized: "We will not accept external structures or organized groups that pose restrictions on its operation. This space must be created, organized and managed by Barcelona."

The new stand will be named "Gol 1957" (to pay tribute to the year when Camp Nou was built), but there are only 1,247 seats. This number has been criticized by some member representatives.

The report disclosed the extremely strict screening conditions for joining the stand:

Age restriction: Must be a club member between 18 and 25 years old.

Security Clearance: Must pass security clearance from the Catalan police and have no record of disciplinary action or violent violations.

Attendance Commitment: A commitment letter must be signed to ensure that the minimum attendance rate during the season reaches 80%.

Other: This area will offer discounted fares and is also open to members who have been on the season ticket waiting list for more than five years.

Although the club initiated 15 meetings to discuss the plan, some groups from the old cheering stands have expressed dissatisfaction with the operating conditions and too few seats of the new stands through social media.
