Parma new forward Fregan broke the cruciate ligament during training, the player just made his debut

Parma officially confirmed that new forward Frigan had a ruptured ACL during training.

Frigan transfers to Parma from Westeru this summer. It is reported that the transfer fee is 9 million euros. The 22-year-old Croatian striker came on as a substitute in the first round of the Italian Cup against Pescara and made his debut.

Parma issued a medical announcement confirming Fregan's ACL rupture: "The medical team of the Parma Club announced that Fregan interrupted training due to a sprained left knee during training at the Collegio Muti Training Center this morning. Instrumental examinations conducted in the afternoon confirmed that the striker's left knee had a rupture."

Fregan will face a long absence, and the recovery period for the ACL rupture is expected to be between 6 and 9 months.
