Official: Juventus renews contract with 27-year-old defender Gati until 2030

On Wednesday local time, Juventus officially announced that it would renew its contract with 27-year-old defender Gati until 2030.

Juventus officially announced that the defender, born in 1998, has renewed his contract with Juventus until June 30, 2030. Gatti officially joined Juventus in the summer of 2022. He has shown dedication and modesty since day one and has won the trust of the coaching staff.

In his home game against Verona in March this year, Gatti completed his 100th game for Juventus. He has played a total of 109 games for Juventus so far (7 goals and 2 assists).

Although Gatti suffered a fibula composite fracture in March this year and was on the verge of more than a month, he is still one of the team's most games in the 24/25 season: playing 42 games and playing more than 3,200 minutes of playing time. He made a comeback a few weeks ago in the Club World Cup and quickly took on a key role in the defense line.

Regarding the renewal, Gatti said: "I am very excited. To renew my contract at this club, it feels like a renewal of my relationship with a second family. This is a wonderful feeling. This should be a new starting point. Now we have to work hard because we have to get back to the track of victory as soon as possible."

According to previous media reports, Gatti's annual salary after renewal is about 3.1 million euros + bonus.
