Redick: Doncic s overall performance on the defensive end is very good and he continues to show defensive ability.

Lakers head coach Redick was interviewed and praised Doncic's defensive performance in the new season.

"There were a few games where he had a slow start on the defensive end, mainly in terms of physical confrontation and positivity," Redick said. "But overall, I think he performed very well. (Playing against the Spurs) he was able to send 5 steals and 2 blocks even with 5 fouls, and he remained active and actively participated in defense. He did not adopt that kind of matador-style (aggressive) defense, but continued to show defense, which is very critical."
