Lake Record: Lake & talks about Wiggins deal, Heat hopes to get Hachimura Shizuo & may win Kneckett

According to ClutchPoints' Lakers reporter Anthony F. Irwin, several sources revealed that trade negotiations between the Lakers and the Heat are still continuing. A few days ago, Anthony F. Irwin said that the Lakers are visiting Andrew Wiggins and the negotiations have also made progress; although the deal will not be concluded soon, the two sides have discussed it many times.

According to several sources familiar with the situation, the Lakers and the Heat are still in further negotiations on the Wiggins deal. The Heat hopes to get Hachimura Shira (and his expiration contract), and more expiration contracts to balance their salary.

Anthony F. Irwin said that it would not work for Wiggins and Hachimura to swap directly, so the contracts of Cleber or Vincent would also have to be added to the deal. Digital sources in the league believe the Heat want to fight for Kneckett in the trade, as the Lakers may not want to use their first-round picks in 2031 or 2032 before they fill the center vacancy. The Heat may also seek to send Li Kaile away, who has a two-year, $18 million contract.

If the Lakers try hard to prevent Hachimura from leaving the team, they will almost certainly have to (in the Wiggins trade) take out their first round picks, plus this year's No. 55 or future draft pick swap rights, but several sources do show that the Heat like Hachimura's outstanding shooting ability under this height condition.
