Former Lakers player Samaki Walker said in an interview program that Doncic said the NBA was soft but he did not defend himself. Doncic talked about similar doubts in an interview with the New York Times today.

Doncic said: "Everyone wants to say something, or some people think they know me well, or say I am not a leader, or I am this or that, I don't care. They just think about me and say what I say. I will show them the real me."
