Up to 1 million euros! Western media: Yamal may be fined for hiring dwarfs to perform

Yamar was recently involved in controversy because he hired dwarf patients to perform on his 18th birthday party. Several Spanish government departments have intervened in the investigation. Catalan media e-noticies revealed that Yamal may be fined a high amount of money for the incident.

The relevant Spanish law on persons with disabilities states that it is prohibited to use the physical disability of persons with disabilities to perform performances or activities that trigger ridicule or satirize.

Spanish Director-General for Persons with Disabilities said that such behavior is prohibited, but no penalties have been introduced. But government departments plan to list similar performance behaviors as serious violations in the next reform. After the implementation of the regulations, the amount of fines may be between 600,000 and 1 million euros.

Jesus-Martin also pointed out: "We are worried that wealthy and powerful people may be lucky to think that they can be exempted from punishment. Public figures like Lamin Yamal have a great influence. The law is made for everyone and we will act based on the results of the investigation."
