Bayern Club officially announced that the club's board of directors unanimously decided to nominate Heiner for the third election for Bayern chairman. Bayern Club Chairman's Election will be held at the Bayern Annual Meeting held at BMW Park on November 2 (10:30 am). This year's annual conference will be themed on the 125th anniversary of the club and provide exclusive activities for members. In addition, the board of directors has once again nominated Diet Meyer (first vice-chairman) and Walter Meneks (second vice-chairman) as candidates for their respective positions. Chairman of the Supervisory Board Edmund Steibel said: "Herbert Heiner, Diet Meyer and Walter Mennex have promoted the good development of the club in recent years with their professionalism and strong sense of identity with Bayern. The club's most rapid membership growth period in its serious history is due to the close connection between the presidium and the fans, the innovative dialogue mechanism and the family-style belonging provided by Bayern for people. These unique advantages are unique in international football. In addition, there are competitive success, economic stability and outstanding social contributions - such as the Bayern counter racism initiative. The current Bureau has achieved remarkable achievements under the outstanding leadership of Chairman Heiner and Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and the Supervisory Board has unanimously approved the nomination today. " Chairman Herbert Heiner responded: " I am grateful for the trust and nomination given by the Supervisory Board headed by Dr. Edmund Steibel. I am pleased to accept it. We will be honored to continue serving the Bureau for three years with Diet Meyer and Walter Meneks. Personally, it is a great honor to be a member of this unique club, and I sincerely accept the election of the Members' Conference. The common goal with my colleagues is to promote the club's continued growth: to make everyone find a place in Bayern and be proud of this extraordinary club. Over the past few years, we have created many mechanisms to promote participation, investment and exchanges, and we will unswervingly continue this path in the future. " This Bavarian native Herbert Heine was elected as the successor of long-time chairman Uli Heines by the German champions at the 2019 Annual Conference. He has served as a member of the Supervisory Board since 2002, and has also been in charge of the Supervisory Board after being elected as Chairman. Reelected in 2022. Munich native Diet Meyer and Sauerland Walter Meneks have served as vice chairman of the club since 2014 and 2016. Meyer also serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Bayern Munich AG.
