Famous reporter: The Warriors used to be a super bad team and then Curry came, he was like a god in the Bay Area

When Marc J Spears (a Bay Area native) participated in the podcast of The OGs, talking about the impact of the Bay Area and Curry's joining the Warriors on the Bay Area.

Spears said: "There is no disrespect to those guys, but the Warriors are a super bad team except for the past 10 years. The fans are crazy about the RUN-TMC group (Tim Hardaway, Richmond, Chris Mullin) who have only been combined for two years. The fans are crazy about a Black Eight Warriors team, but they have only made rounds again and again. This also proves how bad the Warriors team was.

"Then Curry came, and when Curry got into the state, he was surrounded by Clay and Chasing Dreams... Curry had such a huge influence on the Bay Area, and he brought the entire Bay Area together. Some old ladies and aunts who never watched the football all wore the No. 30 jersey to watch the football on the spot because of him. If the Warriors had a game that day and there was no TV in the restaurant that could watch football, then no one would go to the restaurant at all.

"Curry's influence on the Bay Area is completely incredible.
