Galatasaray is expected to restart negotiations with Manchester City on Monday after Ederson sat on the bench against Tottenham on Saturday.

Ederson's replacement Trafford made a mistake, causing Tottenham to score the second goal, and the England goal-stop debut seemed particularly difficult. If City can reach an agreement on Ederson's sale, they will be interested in Paris Saint-Germain's Donaluma. Guardiola has always emphasized that his goalkeeper needs to dare to control the ball, but it has not been clear whether Trafford will continue to serve as the starting goalkeeper.

Ederson has one year left in his current contract with Manchester City, and Galatasaray's first offer was about £8.5 million, not meeting Manchester City's expectations. Galatasaray has since considered other goals and is seeking to buy Manchester City defender Akanji (the offer is still likely to be accepted), and they plan to offer Ederson again.

If Ederson leaves the team, 26-year-old Donnarumma has been listed as an alternative, but Paris Saint-Germain needs to reduce the asking price by £40 million. Donnarumma has been abandoned by Luis Enrique after signing Schevalier, who is considered to be more skilled and passive in Paris.

Meanwhile, Manchester City and Tottenham are still negotiating for Brazilian winger Savigno. Tottenham is preparing to offer the 21-year-old more than £60 million, while Manchester City is valued at about £70 million. If Tottenham successfully signs Savigno, Manchester City are considering introducing Real Madrid's Rodrigo.
