ESPN: Juventus and pharmaceutical companies are interested in Sterling, Chelsea priced at 20 million euros
According to ESPN, teams such as Juventus and Leverkusen are interested in Chelsea winger Sterling. ESPN learned from sources that Juventus, Pharmaceuticals and other teams are interested in Sterling. His current contract has two years left, and Chelsea's price tag for him is 20 million euros. The 30-year-old, who has not been selected for Chelsea's Club World Cup roster, has been training at Cobham base since last week. Last season, Sterling played for Arsenal on loan, but he had a tough season: he made 17 appearances in the Premier League, contributed 2 assists but scored no goals. Last summer, Chelsea coach Maresca included Sterling in his so-called "bomb group" - a group of players who were arranged to leave the first team to train alone and were told there was no future at the club, before joining Arsenal on a buzzer-up loan. Although most Chelsea players are still on holiday after winning the Club World Cup, sources said Sterling has returned to training and is focusing on the upcoming new season. No specific offer has been discussed with Sterling, but Juventus and Leverkusen are considered to be the most prominent of his potential options.
