Dortmund official: Watzke serves as club CEO after unanimous recommendation from the election committee

Dortmund officially announced that at the regular membership meeting held by the club’s election committee, Watzke was unanimously proposed to serve as the club’s CEO, and candidates for other positions will be announced after the next meeting.

Watzke joined Dortmund in 2001 and began to take charge of the daily affairs of the team in 2005. In 2017, Watzke began to serve as CEO of Dortmund and has been in office ever since.
