Arnold: My way of leaving Liverpool was perfect, the boss said I would always welcome me back
Arnold talked about his farewell to Liverpool at Real Madrid's press conference. Arnold: "It's hard enough to join a club like Real Madrid. It's extremely exciting to be able to play alongside Real Madrid players - it's a great feeling to go from an opponent to a teammate, it's a completely different experience. Everything I've achieved at Liverpool is incredible, and those memories will never be forgotten. My way of leaving is perfect, and I'm happy for the way I handle my farewell. I can only be grateful to the fans, they've always been so amazing, and I have great support, and this power is incalculable. The club owner thanks me for my team. It's really special to hear these words. And now standing here, I feel excited. This experience is extraordinary - not every player has the opportunity to experience it. I am lucky to be able to play for the greatest team in England and now also for the greatest team in Spain. Both teams dominate and win their respective league titles, and it's my honor to represent these two teams. They have a lot of similarities. Liverpool expects me to win the championship, and here they look forward to them as well."
